Ana Delicado holds a PhD in sociology and is currently Principal Investigator at ICS – Institute for Social Sciences from University of Lisbon and Assistant Adjunct Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico.
She took the qualifying exams to act as scientific coordinator in 2023. She works primarily in the area of social studies of science, having developed research on scientific societies, science communication, public engagement with technologies, energy, climate change, and digital technologies. She has coordinated several nationally competitively funded research projects and the ICS team on international projects funded by the European Union. She coordinates the Changing Society Observatory and is a member of the ICS ULisboa University Outreach Committee. She is an associate editor of the journal PLOS Sustainability and Transformation.
